Keep Marching
Day 1: Embracing the New Season
Devotional: As we stand on the brink of 2025, it's a moment to reflect on the past and look forward to the future with hope and faith. God is leading us into a new season, and we must boldly step into it. Just as the Israelites marched around Jericho, we are called to keep moving forward, even when the path seems unclear. Trust that God is guiding you and that His promises are true. Embrace this new season with confidence, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.
Verse: Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. - Philippians 1:6
Question: What new season is God leading you into, and how can you boldly step into it with faith?
Quote: In order to go where God is leading us, we've got to boldly step into the new season where he's taking us in 2025.
Prayer: Lord, help me to embrace the new season You are leading me into. Give me the courage to step forward with faith, trusting that You are guiding my every step. Amen.
Day 2: Pursuing God's Presence
Devotional: Our 2025 vision is to pursue God's presence as our number one initiative. This means removing distractions and spending more time with Him. Just as the Israelites had to focus on God's instructions to bring down the walls of Jericho, we must focus on God's presence to overcome the obstacles in our lives. Take time each day to seek Him, pray, and read His Word. Let His presence guide you and give you strength.
Verse: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. - 1 Peter 2:9
Question: What distractions can you remove from your life to better pursue God's presence?
Quote: Take away whatever is taking you away from God and spend time with him.
Prayer: Father, help me to remove the distractions that keep me from Your presence. Draw me closer to You each day and let Your presence be my guide and strength. Amen.
Day 3: Trusting God's Process
Devotional: Life doesn't always tell us how long our trials will last, but we are called to keep marching. Trusting God's process means believing that He is at work, even when progress isn't visible. The Israelites had to march around Jericho for seven days before the walls fell. Similarly, we must trust that God is working in our lives, even when we can't see it. Keep marching, and trust that your breakthrough is coming.
Verse: So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. - Hebrews 10:35
Question: How can you trust God's process in your current situation, even when progress isn't visible?
Quote: Just because your progress isn't obvious, that does not mean that God is not working in your life.
Prayer: Lord, help me to trust Your process, even when I can't see progress. Give me the strength to keep marching and the faith to believe that my breakthrough is coming. Amen.
Day 4: Overcoming Fear
Devotional: Some of the things that you're scared of may just be a sign that the devil is scared of you. Fear can be a powerful obstacle, but God calls us to view it as an opportunity for Him to do a miracle. The Israelites faced the formidable walls of Jericho, but they trusted God and kept marching. When fear arises, remember that God is with you and that He does His best work in impossible situations.
Verse: Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. - Joshua 6:1
Question: What fears are holding you back, and how can you view them as opportunities for God to work a miracle?
Quote: Some of the things that you're scared of may just be a sign that the devil is scared of you.
Prayer: Father, help me to overcome my fears and trust that You are with me. Turn my fear into faith and let me see every obstacle as an opportunity for Your miraculous work. Amen.
Day 5: Keep Marching
Devotional: Life's trials can be long and challenging, but we are called to keep marching. The Israelites didn't know how long they would have to march around Jericho, but they trusted God and kept going. Similarly, we must trust God and keep moving forward, even when we don't know the end date. Lift up your head, child of God, and keep marching. Your breakthrough is coming, and joy will come in the morning.
Verse: Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. - Psalm 30:5
Question: What challenges are you facing that require you to keep marching, and how can you trust God through them?
Quote: Life doesn't tell you how long this trial, this loneliness, this depression, life doesn't tell you how long any of that is going to last. All it says is, keep marching.
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to keep marching through my trials. Help me to trust You and believe that my breakthrough is coming. Amen.
